洋楽の特徴をとらえて作詞してみた

音楽って楽しい時も寂しい時も嬉しい時も苦しい時も全世界共通で寄り添ってくれますよね。

私は断然邦楽が好きです。

ストレス発散のために思いっきり歌ったり、運転中に歌ってドライブを楽しんだり、歌詞を深読みしてみたり…。

でも、たまーに洋楽も聴きます。

そして、歌詞を見ると邦楽とは違った特徴がありますよね。

ストレートで少ししつこいくらいの純粋な愛の要素が盛り込まれていると思います。

それを踏まえて、5年ほど前に洋楽を作ってみました。

〈歌詞〉

You are a perfect woman.
But something is not enough.

Therefore I want you to come with me.

But because I found it
I do not leave it.
There continues being me with you.
Come without worrying.

Therefore there is a thing to see
I can see even your gesture and habit

It is me who am full of the things which are insufficient if I compare it with you
It is you to be least enough in that.
The heart that I am not worthy of if there is you
I feel like having been buried.

In the place where you are insufficient
I enter.
Let's make up each other in two people.
Come without worrying.

My eyes catch you and do not separate it
Therefore there is a thing to see
I can see even your gesture and habit

My eyes do not separate you
You do not readily show me a bad point
Tell me without covering it
Because I bury it.

〈和訳〉

あなたは完璧な女性です。
だけど、何かが足りないんだ。
僕はそれを見つける。
だから僕と一緒についてきてほしい。

でも、それを見つけたからといって
離れたりはしない。
僕は君と一緒にい続ける。
心配せずについてきて。

僕の目は君を捕らえて離さない
だからこそ見えるものがあるんだ
君の仕草や癖だって見えてしまうほど
僕の目は君を離さない

君と比べたら足りない物だらけの僕だけど
その中でも1番足りないのが君なんだ。
君がいれば僕の足りない心が
埋まった気がするよ。

君の足りないところにも
僕が入る。
2人で補い合おう。
心配せずについてきて。

僕の目は君を捕らえて離さない
だからこそ見えるものがあるんだ
君の仕草や癖だって見えてしまうほど
僕の目は君を離さない

君はなかなか僕に短所を見せない
隠さないで教えてよ
僕がそれを埋めるから。

いつか歌手デビューか、作詞家デビューしちゃうかもしれません。
